CLE sponsors are to submit attendance information for all MCLE accredited activities in a timely manner. Texas attendees may be submitted on State Bar of Texas CLE Course Attendance Forms (completed and gathered at the activity and returned together with a copy of this notification) or by reporting attendance via the Texas MCLE online sponsor site. Attendance lists and certificates will not be accepted.  Topics K02, K03 and E27  were excluded from accreditation because Texas is unable to approve topics that deal with career development, personal skills, personal development, business development or general business.  To be approved, the session must cover substantive or procedural law or legal skills as defined by our accreditation standards.  General business topics are usually not accredited as legal skills topics, even if taught only to attorneys. As a sponsor you will need to be reporting the attendance in a timely manner as instructed below but are not obligated to meet attorney’s deadlines. Attorneys do have the option to self-report as well to meet their deadlines. Only one submission will count, it will not duplicate if you add attendance after the attorney has reported and vise-a-versa. You will probably want to create a sign-in sheet to gather information you will need to report the attendance. You will need the attorney’s name, bar number and if they did not attend the entire event, the amount of time they did attend.
